Procedures
The classroom procedures are below (and attached). Each learner is expected to know and follow the procedures upon entering the classroom every day.

Classroom rules
1. Come to class on time, ready to learn with the appropriate materials (this includes book, homework, PENCILS, etc).
2. Treat others like you want to be treated by respecting others, their property, and yourself.
3. Make smart choices.
4. Laugh with anyone but NEVER at any one.
5. Do not interrupt instruction or another students’ learning.
***The TEACHER may change any rule at anytime to make it fit the classroom environment.***
Group Rules
1. You must complete each group activity and individual report.
2. Play your role in the group.
3. You have the right to ask anyone else in your group for help.
4. You have the duty to assist anyone who asks for help.
5. Help other group members without doing their work for them.
6. Everybody helps.
Class Consequences
Breaking rules will not be tolerated in this classroom by anyone. We are here to learn, and by not following the rules keeps us from doing our job!
If a member of our class family breaks a rule, a teacher will talk to him or her about what happened and what should be the consequences. If it is a serious offense, the student will be dealt with in a serious manner!
1st Offense = Verbal and/or Visual Warning
2nd Offense = Time Out and/or teacher conference
3rd Offense = Silent Lunch/ Lunch Detention (student will eat lunch by himself in the café)
4th Offense = Parent Contact via telephone, conference, or e-mail
5th Offense = Student conference with team teachers
6th Offense = Referral to Administration
*SEVERE offenses are referred to Administration immediately.*
